Master Degree

The main objective of this work was the creation and design development of a website, the final goal being that of helping distinguished design students to enter the world of work after University. It was not intended to act as a social network; rather, it represented a window for Design Universities on the national sector of jobs, in which the best talents could be exposed.
Considering the Italian deadlock situation of the working world and the strong increase in available design graduates, the analysis led to the conclusion that new tools are needed in order to break the “impasse” between demand and supply.
NEUE is the name of the website born as a consequence of this consideration. It is slightly different from existing web services, with similar goals. The reason lies in the work made by the curators, which give an evaluation based on the quality of the proposed works. NEUE intends to have a clear focus on the creative design process. It highlights the study path undertaken by the student, giving a wide level of exposure. This thesis is not intended as an exhaustive work on the field, but as a starting point for a better consideration of the subject. A new shape has been given to the researched material, starting with the deep analysis process undertaken. The final step of this thesis consists, therefore, in the creation of an easily “usable” Website which intertwines the paths of graduated students, Universities and Companies who need design services. The project provides a simple platform where emerging talents, freshly graduated students can find matching jobs, which would hardly be possible without NEUE.
